What ages do you teach?

We’ve got sessions for everyone. Mini Movers (4–7), Junior Jumpers (8–12), Movement Masters (13+), and Adult Beginners (16–50+). Whether you’re starting early or starting late, there’s a place for you in our parkour community in Salford.

Question 2

Can I book a trial class? How much does it cost?

Yes! We highly recommend giving a class a try to see how well our academy and our parkour programs work for your family. A trial class is £35 and can be booked by clicking the "see timetable" button for the class you are interested in. Try to arrive 10 - 15 minutes early for your class to get a full tour of our facilities and meet your coaches.

What should I wear to my taster session?

Keep it simple: loose, comfortable sportswear that lets you move properly. Trainers are a must (no crocs, no boots… we shouldn’t have to say it, but here we are). No safety gear needed. We build smart movers, not reckless ones.

Question 4

What are the costs after my taster session?

Accepted Answer

Once you’ve had your taster and you’re hooked (it happens), all members join with a £50 annual membership. From there, class packages range from £70–£210 every 4 weeks depending on how much you want to train.

Where is the Academy?

Question 6

What qualifications do the staff have?

This isn’t your average after-school club. Our coaches are some of the most experienced and qualified parkour athletes in Greater Manchester, including 2024 World Championship qualifier Tom Redfern. All coaches are Parkour UK qualified, DBS checked, and trained in first aid and safeguarding. Helping you develop a passion for parkour is our profession, not our hobby.

Question 7

My kids don't enjoy other sports. Will they like parkour?

If your child is constantly climbing, jumping, and bouncing around the house, or if they never quite felt like they fitted into traditional sports, Parkour at the Project Z Academy offers a safe, structured, and confidence-building alternative. We help channel their natural energy into skill development, strength, and coordination while keeping them fully engaged and excited to learn. We'll have them moving like their favourite video game characters in no time, while also keeping them away from their screens.

I'm too old / too heavy / too clumsy. Will I be able to join in?

Absolutely! All of our classes a perfect for all fitness levels and abilities. Our caring and patient coaches will be able to work with you at your own pace to get you moving in ways you never thought possible. Allow us to help you re-evaluate how you see yourself and turn your world into a playground!

It looks dangerous... Is it safe?

Parkour looks wild on social media, we get it. But in the right environment, it’s one of the safest sports to train. We teach kids and adults how to assess risk, make smart decisions, and build skills progressively. No guesswork, no throwing people into the deep end, just controlled challenge and real confidence building.
